Light Metering

In this photo, we experimented with light metering and how it worked to detect light. In the top photo above, light metering was activated by pushing the shutter half way and putting the center of interest away from the screen. What this did was to brighten everything in the room instead of darkening everything like in the picture below. Light metering is important because it allows you to see the subject in the photo clearly.
