ISO adjusts how sensitive the sensor inside the camera is to light. The higher the ISO, the more sensitive the sensor is to picking up light. Higher ISO's lead to more brightness in a photo. When we compare a picture taken in 50 ISO compared to a picture to 5,000 ISO, the 5,000 ISO photo is noticeably
brighter. However, since the sensor is more sensitive in 5,000 ISO, it results more graininess. And because of this, the lower the ISO, the better the quality of the photo will be. The photo on the bottom is the camera's AUTO setting, which automatically adjusts the ISO and light metering.
